Upon the Heads of Kings
Tiptoeing purple to yellow
nectar laden tops
–flutes of air
and pockets of dreamy
carry copper wings
past my shoulder
shaded sparkle dust
whispers of secrets
and places only wishes know.
A dance without music
audible
to anyone just looking on
but felt
like the heat rising
from summers asphalt;
movement obeys
the power
wrought upon it.
