Projet 365: Week 49 Final Weeks

Every day as the clock ticks on, I am more and more amazed at how quickly this project has happened… and that it’s almost over.

When I started, my goal was to get the camera I’d been wanting for a long time. Now that the camera is only a few weeks away, I’m less (pardon the pun) focused on that outcome.  I’m more excited about completing something that has truly had a profound effect on me–I’ve tried to capture that in words, but I think the pictures speak to that more than I ever could. In the beginning, I was tense–tentative about taking a picture–always worrying about my nose, if I had dark circles, how funky certain angles looked… fast forward and now it’s more about pushing myself creatively. Sometimes that comes out in the pictures, other times in my kitchen or ideas.  And as I approach the final weeks, I think back to that first picture and wonder–how will I wrap it up?
